Christina Haack, born on 7 July 1983, in Anaheim California. The first job she had after school was in the industry of real estate. That's how she met her husband Tarek El Moussa. Following the 2008 collapse of the stock exchange, the real estate market was hit hard by investors and house flippers lost their money. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa almost lost it all due to the crash. The couple moved from a costly home, where they paid $6,000 a month, and moved to a small apartment which cost only $700. Their businesses and the economy gradually recovered. HGTV and Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek requested a colleague to assist him in creating the HGTV audition tape that showed the two of them Christina flipping a house from the beginning to the end. Pie Town Productions executive received this tape. They instantly fell in love with Christina and Tarek's story of love. The contract was agreed by the couple and HGTV. The program "Flip of Flop" began its run on the 13th of April, 2013. From 2013 until 2017, the show aired over 92 episodes in 7 seasons. The show's characters, Christina and Tarek would buy properties, typically homes with a moderate income in Orange County, and would follow up with several weeks making upgrades so they could sell the home for profits. Tarek concentrates on demolition as well as renovation while Christina focuses on design and making sure that everything stays on schedule.
